About us

1956 Karl Blos founded a company for plastics and wood processing.
After a short start-up period he specialized in the production of shaving brush handles.
Many well-known shaving brush manufacturers from Germany, France, England and Italy
were among his customers.

Workshop building

1984  Bernd Blos joined his father's company.

1995 the company also began to make shaving brushes and sold
for the first time under their own name. The brand Shavemac was born.
The shavemac shaving brushes were already sold via an online store.
One of the first internet stores worldwide.

1998 we developed our shaving brush configurator, to enable customers to design a shaving brush according to their wishes.

Today shavemac stands for handmade shaving brushes of the highest quality.
Our shaving brushes are made individually according to the wishes of our customers.
Because we know that a shaving brush is more than just a shaving brush.
